Takes you directly to the next available parking space

The troublesome search for a parking space – stressful for the driver, avoidable traffic build-up for local residents. This Digital Extra enables both parking options and the number of currently available parking spaces to be displayed within a radius of the current vehicle position or in a selected map section. You can adopt these locations in the infotainment system as destination addresses. Additional information about parking spaces (e.g. address, occupancy, opening hours, prices, height, availability, etc.) is also displayed.

The Map Update provides the updated map data for your vehicles with MBUX Navigation

Want to update the map data, but you don’t have much time to go to the dealer to have your map data updated? Such time-consuming updates are a thing of the past with the Map Update. You can easily update your maps to the updated map data, via mobile communication or by downloading the updated maps from the Mercedes-Benz profile to a USB stick on your own.

• In order to use the Map Update, your vehicle must be connected to your Mercedes me ID, and the Map Update must be activated.
• If the update map data is released, the map data of the pre-selected area will be automatically renewed via the communication module in the vehicle.
• In order to download the entire country map data all-at-once or update any area not pre-selected, you have to download the updated map data from the Mercedes-Benz profile to a USB stick, and then install it onto the vehicle. This installation will be performed with the ignition on. Installation will be suspended when the ignition is off, and will automatically resume when the ignition turns on again.

• The area to-be-updated must be selected on the Mercedes-Benz profile for automatic installs of the updated map data via communication module in the vehicle. Your area of residence you have registered for Mercedes me ID, is the pre-selected area in the initial settings. You can change or set the areas to-be-updated through the Mercedes-Benz profile.
• If either the map data version or the vehicle software version currently installed on your vehicle is old, the updated map data may not be automatically installed even if such updated map data is released. If the map data does not update automatically, you can update the version of the map data currently installed on your vehicle by yourself, and automatic installation of updated map data will be available on and after the next time. These updates are available through the Mercedes-Benz profile. Please contact authorized dealers of Mercedes-Benz for the updates of the vehicle software version.

• For MBUX vehicles, you cannot update maps at authorized dealers after the end of the initial free period of the Map Update Digital Extra.

Navigate straight to points of interest at any location

Where is the Skytree in Tokyo? How do you get to Hakone? Your Mercedes knows the way to all the must-see attractions on your city break. You can find any points of interest with ease. You start the Local Search by voice command ..."Hey Mercedes, take me to Haneda Airport" or by entering information via the central controls. Save your search results or start your navigation system right away.

See the weather coming

Get ready for the weather at your destination even during the trip – the Weather map Digital Extra shows you on the map where it's currently sunny, cloudy or raining. Then just tap on the respective weather symbol for further information about the forecast for that area.

Be prepared for any weather, wherever you go

On your way to the mountains, you plan for a break at an idyllic lake. You’ve packed the swimwear and planned the most beautiful route in advance – now only the weather has to play along. Your Mercedes with Weather forecast knows if you can expect sun and pleasant temperatures: MBUX "Weather forecast" shows current weather information and forecasts on the media display. You choose the locations for which weather data is displayed – your current location, your destination and any other location of your choice.

Real-time data for the best route

The navigation system shows real-time traffic data from the cloud. If different route becomes a faster option, alternatives will be presented directly in the navigation system.

More details for more clarity

You like to know in advance what to expect at your destination. Does the nearest rest or service area have nice surroundings? Where exactly is the entrance to the hotel car park? At which building entrance is the best parking spot for an upcoming appointment? A look at the navigation map will tell you.

Your advantages at a glance

To use the Satellite images, simply set the appropriate marker in the navigation settings. The Satellite view will then be superimposed on the standard navigation map. The geodata is provided as normal when calculated routes are displayed. To explore new landscapes, towns or cities from above, you can also move around the map as you please.
