Before purchasing and using the Remote Engine Start, please read the important warnings below. Further notes are available for A/B/CLA/GLA/GLB diesel models here. If you have MP202201 or models that have been sold after MP202201, this Digital Extra is available to you immediately upon completion of the ordering and completion of the utilization procedures, including having the purchased Fee-Based Digital Extras activated. Withdrawal, Cancellation: Cancellation and revocation of your application can not be accepted after credit settlement is completed.
Cooling-off also can not be applicable. Monthly subscription can be cancellable monthly, but there will be no prorated refunds in case of cancellation during the subscription period.

Start your vehicle via the Mercedes-Benz App. From this moment on, the engine runs for ten minutes to bring the interior to the desired temperature. Cosy heat or welcome freshness awaits when you open the vehicle door.
Your advantages at a glance
Start your vehicle's engine by Mercedes-Benz App. Your vehicle's interior will then be cooled or heated for ten minutes – regardless of whether you have an auxiliary heater. The Mercedes-Benz App shows you the remaining run time and the current temperature inside the vehicle. You can also use the app to switch off the engine manually before the run time comes to an end. To allow you to keep tabs on everything, you will be informed of all events during Remote Engine Start by push notification, email or text message. During Remote Engine Start your vehicle remains firmly locked and the anti-theft protection system is active.

Please ensure to check the applicable regulations (regulations on idling stop) for your applicable municipals before purchase. Idling the engine might infringe local regulations.
Warning!
Use Remote Engine Start only when you know that the vehicle is parked in an open space away from flammable materials. Not for use while vehicle is being serviced or during repair. Make sure that the vehicle is NOT on a public road when using Remote Engine Start. In addition, idling the engine even when the vehicle is not on a public road might infringe local regulations. Using Remote Engine Start while the vehicle is on a public road or using it against the local regulations might constitute a criminal offense.
Warning!
In any case, ensure that the vehicle is in an environment to safely use the Digital Extra. (for example: not on a public road, not within a multi-storey car park or garage, not within an enclosed environment, not within a car wash or any place with bad air circulation, etc.).
Warning!
Ensure that no person, child or pet is in the vehicle when using the Remote Engine Start. Risk of accident.
Warning!
Do not use the Remote Engine Start while vehicle is being serviced or during repair. Limbs could be crushed or trapped if the engine is started unintentionally durin service or maintenance work.
Warning!
Make sure nothing (snow etc.) is blocking the muffler of the vehicle before using the Remote Engine Start.
Warning!
Make sure no body cover is used for the vehicle when using the Remote Engine Start. Risk of fire.
Caution!
Make sure to also inform sub-users of the warning messages. Risk of accident.

- The Mercedes-Benz App is available in the App Store™ for iOS devices and in the Google Play™ Store for Android™ devices.
- The Remote Engine Start Digital Extra is only available for vehicles with automatic transmission and without an electric steering lock.
- The Remote Engine Start Digital Extra is only available where all of the following conditions are met:
- The doors of the vehicle are locked.
- The gear is in parking mode.
- The windows and doors are closed.
The Fee-Based Digital Extras are available immediately upon completion of the ordering process and completion of the utilization procedures, including having the purchased Fee-Based Digital Extras activated.

1. Operational Requirements
Digital Extras are available immediately upon completion of the ordering process, but activation may take several hours. However, you must complete utilization procedures, including having the purchased Digital Extras enabled, before using them.
2. License Term
The license period for Digital Extra purchased in the store is 365 days for a 12-month license, or if purchased with a monthly automatic renewal (subscription), it will automatically renew every month until you terminate the contract.
If the license has a specified period, you can purchase a new product (excluding subscriptions) starting 30 days before the expiration date. However, the license period for the newly purchased product will begin upon purchase, and any remaining license period will be forfeited.
Withdrawal, Cancellation:
Cancellation and revocation of your application can not be accepted after credit settlement is completed.
Cooling-off also can not be applicable.
However, under circumstances described in Section 3, 4 and 5 of Part L of the General Terms and Conditions for Purchasing Digital Extras, a part of the fees paid by the Customer to MBJ for the relevant Digital Extras will be granted back to the Customer in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions for Digital Extras.
