Your advantages at a glance

The TV tuner puts digital television on the large media display, including subtitles, data casting and emergency warnings. Digital Image Enhancement and Daylight Optimized Perception optimise the picture quality according to the given reception situation and light conditions. If so desired, different voice tracks can be played back simultaneously through different speakers. You can organise your favourite programmes individually in the preset list and via the Favourites function. The channel lists are automatically adjusted depending on the reception situation. While the vehicle is on the move, the media display outputs only the audio content of the selected station, so as to avoid distracting the driver. The rear passengers can enjoy the full audio and visual TV offering at any time, provided that screens are installed in the rear.

  1. How do I activate the TV tuner in the vehicle?
    Please make sure that your vehicle is connected to your Mercedes-Benz account and that the vehicle's GPS reception is working. In the Mercedes-Benz Store place the TV tuner available for your vehicle in the shopping cart and complete the order.

    The vehicle's ignition must be turned off for activation. Turn the ignition on again after approximately 2 minutes. The menu item "TV tuner" will appear on the main screen/homescreen of the infotainment system in your Mercedes and will be available for use.

  2. Withdrawal, Cancellation:
    Cancellation and revocation of your application can not be accepted after credit settlement is completed.
    Cooling-off also can not be applicable.
    However, under circumstances described in Section 3, 4 and 5 of Part L of the General Terms and Conditions for Purchasing Digital Extras, a part of the fees paid by the Customer to MBJ for the relevant Digital Extras will be granted back to the Customer in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions for Digital Extras.
    Monthly subscription can be cancellable monthly, but there will be no prorated refunds in case of cancellation during the subscription period.

  3. What would MBJ offer where the Fee-Based Digital Extra that I purchased are not available? (for the product Permanently available in the vehicle following once-only activation)

    1. If you cannot use the Fee-Based Digital Extra that you purchased, MBJ may refund the fees to you in accordance with the following terms, pursuant to the General Terms and Conditions for Purchasing Fee-Based Mercedes-Benz Digital Extras. (No refund will be made after one year or more has elapsed since the purchase date.)

      Within less than 30 days from the date of purchase: 95% of the fees
      After 30 days or more and within less than one year from the date of purchase: 50% of the fees

    2. When the unavailability of the Fee-Based Digital Extra is caused by defects or issues with vehicles, communication equipment or any other hardware (the “Vehicles”), the Fee-Based Digital Extra may become available by repair, exchange or the like of the Vehicles (where the warranty of the Vehicles is valid, MBJ handles the warranty in accordance with the warranty terms). When the Fee-Based Digital Extra become available by repair, exchange or the like of the Vehicles, MBJ will not make any refund as described in (1) above.
