Link the streaming providers available for your vehicle with your Mercedes and listen to your favourite stations without interruption, courtesy of Online Radio. You'll also get help signing up for an all-inclusive data package for music streaming with a selected third-party provider. After the conclusion of the data contract (Comfort data volume) you get have the opportunity to enjoy music streaming – without using up your smartphone data volume and at no additional cost.

The usable package scope may vary, depending on your vehicle's equipment.

*To use the Entertainment Package, a separate customer contract with a third-party provider (Comfort data volume) is required. No further costs are incurred. Depending on the generation of your multimedia system, the customer's own data volume (e.g. mobile hotspot) must be used as an alternative to the Comfort data volume.

The convenient way to a data contract for your Mercedes-Benz

Data package for using the Entertainment Package/MBUX Entertainment . Surf and stream in the car with complete peace of mind – at no extra cost. This works best with the all-inclusive data package, which can be very easily arranged with our chosen third-party provider. Once you have registered, you can use music streaming in your Mercedes-Benz at any time. You will not incur any further costs as a result of this registration and the supplementary contract involved.
The data contract with the third-party provider ends automatically as soon as your term for the Entertainment Package/MBUX Entertainment ends.

A personal Mercedes me ID and agreement to the terms of use for Mercedes-Benz Digital Extras are required to use Digital Extras. In addition, the respective vehicle must be linked to the Mercedes-Benz user account. After the initial term has expired, the Digital Extras can be renewed for a fee, provided they are still offered for the respective vehicle at that time. Digital Extras can be activated for the first time within 1 year of initial registration or commissioning by the customer, whichever comes first.

  1. What is the Comfort data volume?
    The Comfort data volume is part of the Entertainment Package/MBUX Entertainment and is provided by a selected third-party provider. The data volume is intended exclusively for use in your Mercedes-Benz. After registering and activating the free data package with the third-party provider, you can use the Digital Extras of the Entertainment Package/MBUX Entertainment without using your private smartphone data volume or purchasing additional data volume.

  2. What are the advantages of the Comfort data volume?
    The Comfort data volume is your free all-round carefree data package. The data volume can be used for all Digital Extras of the Entertainment Package/MBUX Entertainment (music streaming, video streaming, apps), as well as for using the browser in the vehicle and as a hotspot. The Comfort data volume is currently available in 30 EU countries and enables cross-border surfing and streaming within our partner's roaming network. The quality of the connection depends on the availability or quality of the mobile phone network.

  3. How do I activate my Comfort data volume?
    The Comfort data volume is activated within a few minutes via the Mercedes-Benz App. Open the menu in the Mercedes-Benz App and navigate to "Manage services". In the "Infotainment" category, navigate to the "Comfort data volume" service and select "Activate now". Follow the steps on our partner's website and take out the free data plan. Your data volume should be available within a short time. Depending on the market, additional verification by credit card or on-site with our partner may be required.

  4. Is the data volume free of charge?
    The Comfort data volume is part of the Entertainment Package/MBUX Entertainment and is not associated with any additional costs.

  5. Why do I need an additional contract with a third-party provider?
    Due to legal requirements, the Comfort data volume within the Entertainment Package/MBUX Entertainment is provided by a third party. This requires the conclusion of a no-cost contract for the data volume with our partner.

  6. Can I use my Comfort data volume in other countries as well?
    The Comfort data volume is currently available in 30 EU countries. When you cross a border, the Comfort data volume will continue to work as long as you are in one of our partner's roaming networks.
