Although you cannot keep an eye on your Mercedes around the clock yourself, you can at least rest assured that the necessary steps will be taken as soon as possible in the event of theft. In that case, one thing matters above all: not losing any time and finding out where your Mercedes is as quickly as possible. Our authorised service partner can provide the crucial edge in terms of time. The service partner releases the position data of your vehicle directly to police. As a result, the investigations start immediately even without a court order. And you increase the chances that your Mercedes quickly returns to where it belongs.

Your advantages at a glance

If your vehicle was stolen, you report the theft immediately to police yourself. That is where you are given a case number. You then use the Digital Extra in the Mercedes-Benz App to contact the security centre of our authorised service partner. Incidentally: if you have an anti-theft alarm system, a message is sent to the security centre automatically. After you have relayed your data, the case number and the relevant police station to the security centre, its employees take care of the further process. They manage the communication with police and provide support for the officers by starting the tracking and transmitting the position data. If your vehicle was located, police can start with the search immediately.

Notes on Stolen Vehicle Help

Vehicles that cannot be found prior to purchasing this Digital Extra are not included in this service. It is also recommended that you store an e-mail address in your Mercedes-Benz account in addition to your mobile phone number. This allows you to report a loss even if your vehicle and smartphone have been stolen.

Being able to locate your vehicle requires an active Mercedes-Benz account, acceptance of the terms of use of Digital Extras, at least one activated digital product in the vehicle as well as activation of the Stolen Vehicle Help Digital Extra. The tracking of stolen vehicles is independent of the Vehicle Tracker, which vehicle users can activate or deactivate themselves. The tracking of stolen vehicles on the other hand is started solely by a member of the staff of our authorised partner's security centre at your behest – in close coordination with police. It will be terminated automatically after 30 days if the vehicle does not send a new position for 30 consecutive days. You do not have any information about the position of your vehicle during the search process.

Finds your Mercedes whenever and wherever

If someone from the family has borrowed your Mercedes without asking, you'll obviously be keen to know just where they are at any given moment. You can easily find this out: either via smartphone or on the Mercedes-Benz profile. Your vehicle's current GPS coordinates will be relayed for this purpose. The driver will be informed of this tracking and can deactivate the function by phone if they so wish via the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center. Contact can be made via Info Call or your own mobile phone.

Takes you directly to the next available parking space

The troublesome search for a parking space – stressful for the driver, avoidable traffic build-up for local residents. The Available Parking Spaces Digital Extra locates available parking spaces for you in multi-storey car parks and on the street. If you decide on a spot in a multi-storey car park you will receive information such as opening times, prices, payment options and the height limit of the entrance. For parking spaces on the street you will receive information on the size of the parking space and the time that has elapsed since the space became available.

You start the Local Search by voice command ..."Hey Mercedes, take me to the Louvre in Paris" or by entering information via the central controls. Save your search results or start your navigation system right away. This way, you can find any point of interest with ease.

Select your programme based on stations, music genres, categories such as sports or talk, and languages, and save your favourites. The latest generation of MBUX fulfils your music wishes with a simple announcement: "Hey Mercedes, play Classic Rock!"

Get ready for the weather at your destination even during the trip – the Weather map Digital Extra shows you on the map where it's currently sunny, cloudy or raining. Then just tap on the respective weather symbol for further information about the forecast for that area.

Ready for any change in the weather

You arrive at the office in the morning in heavy rain, but later the sun comes out. To prevent your Mercedes parked outside from getting too hot inside by the time you finish work, you can raise the sliding sunroof by remote control. A tap on a button in the Mercedes-Benz App is all it takes – even if you are not near your car. And should it start to rain again, the sliding sunroof will close automatically to keep the interior safe and dry.

No more unpleasant surprises

You have finally finished the weekly grocery shop, and as usual there's lots going on – when loading up your groceries you notice there's a dent in the bumper of your car. If the culprit didn't leave their address behind, you are now faced with the hassle of organising and paying for the repair yourself. With Theft notification and parking damage detection you will be quicker: A smartphone notification informs you in real time should your vehicle be moved or disturbed. In addition, the Mercedes-Benz App shows the cause of the alarm as well as the level, place and time of the damage. When parking damage is detected, you will also see this information on the media display when you enter the car and you can transmit this to your Mercedes-Benz Partner if you wish.

Always have an eye on the range

Do you want to cover as many miles as possible on one charge on longer trips? During your trip, the Range Assistant Digital Extra keeps you informed on the current range and the energy intensity of your driving style. Required charging stops are automatically planned in the route calculation. The duration of the charging stops are also taken into consideration so that you can reach your destination as quickly as possible.

Be prepared for any weather, wherever you go

On your way to the mountains, you plan for a break at an idyllic lake. You’ve packed the swimwear and planned the most beautiful route in advance – now only the weather has to play along. Your Mercedes knows if you can expect sun and pleasant temperatures: MBUX "Weather forecast" shows current weather information and forecasts on the media display. You choose the locations for which weather data is displayed – your current location, your destination and any other location of your choice.

Foreign city, winding streets – you can find yourself asking where you parked and what the quickest way back to your vehicle is. Fortunately, your smartphone knows the answer. Your parked vehicle can be located by app within a radius of 1.5 km. And you can take the most direct route back to your Mercedes straight away.

Everything just as you like it

Did your son with a different taste in music adjust all the radio settings on his last trip? Simply use the Personalisation function so that everything is as you're used to it when you climb in. You can use it to add your individual profile to store the lumbar support and mirror settings, colour settings for the ambient lighting, your favourite radio station and further functions on a permanent basis. You can store these personal settings in your vehicle under "Settings" and call them up at any time. For supreme comfort from the moment you set off – at the push of a button.

Know the current range in any direction at all times

You would like to drive your Mercedes-Benz with EQ Technology with greater foresight? Check where to charge your vehicle within your electrical range at a glance. The current electrical range as well as nearby charging stations are displayed on the map. This dynamic range calculation allows for more eco friendly and reliable driving.

Making driving with a trailer or towed vehicle easier

Always take the route that's best for you and your Mercedes with its trailer or towed vehicle – on familiar or unfamiliar roads. The Trailer route planner ensures that you get through with ease, wherever you want to go. You simply save the type and dimensions of your trailer or towed vehicle in the navigation system. These dimensions are automatically taken into account when the route is being calculated – and you can be confident that you will be following the route that is best for you at that particular moment.

Your advantages at a glance

Once you have hooked up your trailer, simply enter the type of trailer (bicycle rack, small trailer or caravan) in the navigation system via MBUX. In the case of small trailers or caravans, you can then modify the pre-set dimensions and weights on an individual basis. These data will then automatically be taken into account in calculating the route. This process will exclude routes that are unsuitable for you owing to height restrictions, the radius of bends, road width and other parameters. Using real-time traffic data, the route will be updated as necessary in order to avoid traffic jams, for example. Driving assistance systems available in the vehicle will also adopt relevant speed restrictions for trailers. In the case of electric vehicles, the trailer or towed vehicle will also be taken into account for the calculation of the estimated range and in the planning of charging stops.

Turn your Mercedes into a mobile games console

Are you stopping to recharge, or would you like to kill time while waiting? A selection of Mini Games has been developed specifically for the touchscreens and steering wheel Touch Control buttons in your Mercedes. Play on your own and beat your highest score, or measure yourself against other vehicle occupants on one screen. For safety reasons it is only possible to play on the displays in the rear when the vehicle is in motion.

Whether it's a hot summer's day or an icy winter morning, you'll be welcomed by pleasant temperatures when you get into your Mercedes-Benz. Simply program the climate control for your desired departure time: You can set up to 3 departure times to the precise minute in the Mercedes-Benz App – your Mercedes-Benz will activate the Auxiliary heating/ventilation automatically at the appropriate time.

Let your Mercedes light up the way

It's a familiar predicament: in the dark it can prove impossible to find the vehicle which you parked in a large car park in daylight. The simplest solution: save yourself the trouble of a drawn-out search for your vehicle and have your Mercedes guide you instead. Simply activate the standing lights of your vehicle using the Mercedes-Benz App. Your vehicle will remain locked as you make your way to it. And time-consuming searches for your vehicle are a thing of the past.

Fresh air at the push of a button

The sunniest of weather can sometimes be a challenge, as you can't always find a parking space in the shade. Provide for a pleasant climate inside your Mercedes before you set off again. Using the Mercedes-Benz App, you can open the windows and freshen up the interior by remote control while you are on the way to your vehicle. Should it suddenly begin to rain, the windows will close again automatically.

To prevent your Mercedes from going astray

The long-awaited holiday is finally here. You entrust your Mercedes to a valet parking service upon arrival at the airport. You want to be sure your Mercedes is in safe hands, of course. Vehicle Monitoring lets you keep an eye on all your vehicle's movements while you're away. You receive a notification whenever the ignition is switched on or whenever your Mercedes is moved away from its parking space. So that you have everything under control - leaving you free to enjoy the finer things in life while on holiday.

"Car sharing is caring" – share your Mercedes contactlessly

Your friends have spontaneously decided to go on a trip? Your family needs to use your Mercedes every now and again? With this upgrade, you'll keep those dear to you mobile – without loads of organising. Thanks to the digital key handover, you can have your Mercedes ready for someone else to borrow at a moment's notice, at any time and from anywhere, and flexibly go about your own business, wherever you may be. The process is easy: simply add a key in the vehicle which is to be used for authentication purposes. To do this, activate the key at the desired time in your Mercedes-Benz App. Once the person has finished using your vehicle, you can deactivate the key on the spot, using the App. The borrower of your vehicle doesn't need to do anything except message or call you before and after.

Please note your specific insurance conditions which apply independently of this Digital Extra. Insuring other drivers and permission to leave a key in the glove compartment are matters you must clarify directly and individually with your insurer. Please only leave a deactivated vehicle key in the vehicle. An activated key which is left in the glove compartment may lead to loss of your insurance coverage.

Stream your favourite music in your Mercedes-Benz

Thanks to streaming, your favourite songs are always available – now also directly via the MBUX multimedia system. Through your respective music streaming provider* you can listen to your playlists and access the entire music catalogue. Operation is perfectly integrated into the familiar environment of your Mercedes-Benz. The MBUX Voice Assistant is particularly easy to control: "Hey Mercedes, play the latest hits!"

All charged up and with a pleasant interior temperature just when you need it

You've just finished a workout and are planning to meet up with friends later on. With Programming of charging settings and Pre-Entry Climate Control, your Mercedes-Benz with EQ technology is always ready when you are. You can enter your departure time and your desired interior temperature conveniently via the Mercedes-Benz App and prepare for the evening in the most relaxed of moods. When it's time to go, the interior of your Mercedes will be duly cooled to a pleasant temperature in the summer or warmed up in the winter. Icy windows are a thing of the past. The required energy is supplied by the charging facility, ensuring you can use as much battery charge as possible for your range. You can also be sure you will have the desired state of charge at the time of departure. You can check the current state of charge and range at any time via the Mercedes-Benz App.

Finds a suitable route for your vehicle

Take the strain out of route planning – even in vehicles whose dimensions exceed those of a typical passenger car. Navigation for Trailers and Oversized Vehicles calculates an optimised route based on the individual requirements. To this end, simply specify the dimensions of your vehicle/trailer combination and its permissible gross weight. Obstacles such as low tunnels, bridges and narrow roads will then be avoided.

Your advantages at a glance

Enter the length, width and height as well as the permissible gross weight of your vehicle or vehicle/trailer combination in the Mercedes-Benz App. These dimensions are then taken into account automatically in the Mercedes-Benz App during route calculation. Routes that cannot be used due to headroom restrictions, the radii of bends, road width and other parameters are thus excluded. Using Send-to-Car you can send the optimised route with ease to the MBUX multimedia system in your Mercedes vehicle and start navigation directly there.

Software release NTG6 FUP4 is required in order to make full use of Navigation for Trailers and Oversized Vehicles. The appropriate software update (for model series 907/910 before 03/2023) can be installed at an authorised Mercedes-Benz workshop subject to a charge.

• The navigation for oversized vehicles is available only for vehicles based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with front wheel or rear wheel drive
• Navigation for Trailers and Oversized Vehicles is available free of charge ex works for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (model series 907/910 as from 02/2022) with MBUX multimedia system and navigation for 3 years. Software release NTG6 FUP4 is required in order to make full use of Navigation for Trailers and Oversized Vehicles. The appropriate software update (for model series 907/910 before 03/2023) can be installed at an authorised Mercedes-Benz workshop subject to a charge

Navigation for Trailers and Oversized Vehicles is only an aid. The driver must continue to observe the actual road conditions and surroundings at all times.

With In-Car Calendar, you can operate numerous calendar functions without having to take your hands off the steering wheel. Use voice control to create new appointments, or have upcoming calendar entries read out to you. If dial-in data or a call number are available, your vehicle will initiate the conference call or call at the appropriate time if you so wish. When using information received via the interface to Gmail, the application complies with Google requirements relating to restricted use.

With In-Car Office you use your valuable time productively in your vehicle too: thanks to the read-aloud function for emails and the ability to initiate conference calls via voice command, along with a reminder function, you can concentrate fully on the journey - and still work. Changes in your calendar are updated promptly in the vehicle and outstanding calls are displayed as To Dos. So you're always up to date when out and about.

In-Car Office allows you to work while on the road – without having to take your hands off the wheel. Thanks to the automation of lots of functions, the Digital Extra saves you having to reach for your smartphone and thus makes working easier and safer: for example, you can automatically dial into a conference call or work through emails by voice command and use the read-aloud function while driving. This makes work before and after meetings simple and straightforward. You can confer with people during your journey, for example, to ensure you are optimally prepared when you appear at the meeting with your customer. In-Car Office is available in vehicles with MBUX multimedia system and a media display of at least 10.25 inches in size. With COMAND Online use is restricted, the email functions are not available. To use the Digital Extra, you must have access to the vehicle as the main user with your Mercedes-Benz driver profile.

Real-time data for the best route

Many ways lead to your destination. Your Mercedes-Benz knows the best way to get there. For this purpose, the navigation system is fed with real-time traffic data from the cloud. Should the prevailing conditions alter and a different route become a faster option, alternatives will be presented directly in the navigation system. You can opt for a different route either by simply selecting it in the navigation system or by driving directly along the new route in order to activate it in the system.

On landing in your holiday paradise, you have a nagging doubt about whether you have locked your vehicle at the airport back home. If you forgot to do so, you can lock it now from anywhere in the world via smartphone thanks to the Mercedes-Benz App. And if you ever lock yourself out of your Mercedes or fellow travellers arrive at the vehicle before you, you can also unlock the doors conveniently by app.

You like to know in advance what to expect at your destination. Does the nearest rest or service area have nice surroundings? Where exactly is the entrance to the hotel car park? At which building entrance is the best parking spot for an upcoming appointment? A look at the navigation map will tell you.

To use the Satellite images, simply set the appropriate marker in the navigation settings. The Satellite view will then be superimposed on the standard navigation map. The geodata is provided as normal when calculated routes are displayed. To explore new landscapes, towns or cities from above, you can also move around the map as you please.

Business, finance, culture or sport – you choose which topics you want to stay informed about and which news portals* you get information from. The block button for all keys of your Mercedes

You step out of the house and routinely pat down your pockets. Smartphone, wallet, you've got everything – but where is the car key? Have you misplaced it, or lost it? Or has it even been stolen? The uncertainty makes for an uneasy feeling. Take a breath and deactivate your car key via the Mercedes-Benz App. And once the key has turned up, you can activate it again via the Mercedes-Benz App.

One click in the Mercedes-Benz App and entering your Mercedes me ID PIN blocks all your keys and locks your Mercedes. Compatible NFC devices such as the digital vehicle key on the smartphone are also deactivated. The two-stage steering wheel lock provides additional protection. Get to your destination locally emission-free with your plug-in hybrid

State of charge, route guidance, low emission zones – your Mercedes has everything under control and will automatically point out the low emission zones along your route. Your plug-in hybrid will change to the Electric drive program when you drive into a low emission zone, and will automatically plan a charging stop in the case of insufficient electric energy.
