Remote Parking Assist into various parking space
Searching for a parking space in the city center or a residential area often takes too long. Once you've finally found a parking space it is often so tight that you can just about park – but it's difficult to get on and off the vehicle. Thanks to the Remote Parking Assist you can conveniently park your Mercedes fully automatically and exit parking it again whilst you keep an eye on the proceedings remotely – all via an app.
Your advantages at a glance
Isn't it troublesome to park in a narrow parking space? Parking can be done from the outside of the vehicle using the Remote Parking App in your end device. In the case of parallel and vertical parking, when the vehicle detects a parking space, you can get off your Mercedes and simply park in accordance with the operation of your end device. Also, when you park in a narrow parking lot where it is difficult to get on and off, you can get off your Mercedes in front of the parking space and move the car linearly back and forth, making it easier to get on and off.
* Please use the function in a location where you can get location information from the GPS of the vehicle, and in an environment where stable communication is possible with Bluetooth®. Please note that the operation may be affected by radio wave interference etc. depending on the radio wave situation of the place for parking.

- The Remote Parking App is available from the App™ Store for iOS devices and the Google Play™ Store for Android devices
- You may not be able to use it depending on the manufacturer, model, OS version, etc. of your end device. Pay particular attention to the compatibility of Android end devices. Please refer to FAQs to check available end device models
- Remote Parking Assist is currently only available for the E-Class (excluding cabriolet and some models of coupe) and the S-Class (excluding coupe, cabriolet and 7-speed / V12 models) since market launch from 2017

1. Operational Requirements
Digital Extras are available immediately upon completion of the ordering process, but activation may take several hours. However, you must complete utilization procedures, including having the purchased Digital Extras enabled, before using them.
2. License Term
The license period for Digital Extra purchased in the store is 365 days for a 12-month license, or if purchased with a monthly automatic renewal (subscription), it will automatically renew every month until you terminate the contract.
If the license has a specified period, you can purchase a new product (excluding subscriptions) starting 30 days before the expiration date. However, the license period for the newly purchased product will begin upon purchase, and any remaining license period will be forfeited.
Where can I get the Remote Parking App?
The Remote Parking App is available from the App Store™ for iOS devices and from the Google Play™ Store for Android devices.Can I use Remote Parking Assist with more than one device?
Yes, you can pair the Digital Extra in your Mercedes with up to six end devices so fellow users can also use the Digital Extra by registering as sub-users and pairing for the end device and the vehicle via Bluetooth authentication. Furthermore, you can pair six different vehicles with each end device. This does not result in any additional cost for you.Do I need an active internet connection?
An internet environment is not required for parking and maneuvering by Remote Parking Assist, but please use it in a location where the vehicle's GPS can obtain location information and in a radio wave environment where stable communication is possible with Bluetooth®. Please note that the operation may be affected by radio wave interference etc. depending on the radio environment.
Remote Parking Assist is only available on level ground. Please note that it cannot be used in uneven places such as slopes, diagonal parking spaces in Service Areas on the highways, multilevel parking lots or parking lots with pillars.Can I use Remote Parking Assist after downloading the App?
No, you first have to link your end device(s) to the vehicle. You only need to do this once. To do this, activate Bluetooth™ on your end device and initiate authorization in the "Assistance" menu in your vehicle's multimedia system. On the vehicle display, you will now be prompted to select the "Camera & Parking" > "Remote Parking Assist" > "Connect to New Device" > "MB_Park". A 6-digit passkey will then appear on the vehicle display. Enter this passkey in your Remote Parking App. Authorization is completed after confirmation. You can then use the Digital Extra.How far away from my Mercedes can I be when using Remote Parking Assist?
To use the Digital Extra you must remain with the vehicle key outside and within around three meters of the vehicle. If you move further away, the vehicle will stop automatically. Please note that you remain the official driver and therefore bear full responsibility for your vehicle. Also, in the event of a detection of obstacles in the vehicle's path and a termination of the operation of the end device, the vehicle will stop automatically. Keep checking that there are no people or other obstacles in the vicinity of the vehicle.What happens if the Bluetooth™ connection is faulty or fails?
In the event of a poor Bluetooth™ connection, you will receive a notification that the vehicle is stopping on your end device. If the connection fails completely, the vehicle will stop and the engine will be switched off automatically. You can continue the parking maneuver after establishing a new connection.What end device models or OS versions can the Mercedes-Benz App be used on?
Recommended environment:

However, under circumstances described in Section 3, 4 and 5 of Part L of the General Terms and Conditions for Purchasing Digital Extras, a part of the fees paid by the Customer to MBJ for the relevant Digital Extras will be granted back to the Customer in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions for Digital Extras.
