Set limits when others take the wheel

Valet Service Mode limits the power of your vehicle and restricts access to personal profile data when the vehicle is given to other drivers. Available acceleration is significantly restricted over the entire speed range. Power is reduced to set a maximum permissible speed of 80km/h (for electric vehicles) or 130km/h (for gasoline powered vehicles). The ESP stability program remains permanently activated so that it can support the driver at all times. Sport driving programs are not available when Valet Service Mode is turned on. Your routes, addresses and profile data are not accessible to others when Valet Service Mode is selected, as protection measures are activated for the profile stored in the vehicle. Thus, the data contained therein is protected from unauthorized access.

Makes acceleration easier to control

Beginner Driver Mode allows drivers to gradually acquaint themselves with driving a new vehicle. In Beginner Driver Mode, the performance of your vehicle is adjusted to set a maximum permissible speed of 120km/h (for electric vehicles) or 130km/h (for gasoline powered vehicles), with reduced acceleration throughout the entire speed range. The ESP stability program remains permanently activated, and sport driving programs are not available when Beginner Driver Mode is turned on. The authorization concept prevents Beginner Driver Mode from being deselected by another user.
